Bruce Smoler, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., F.I.C.O.I.

Dr. Bruce Smoler is a native of the Detroit area. After an accelerated 3 years of college, he attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, IL. This 4year, year‐round program allowed him to advance his skill, knowledge, and understanding of dentistry. He was allowed to participate in numerous externship programs treating multidiscipline complex cases.

This advanced training gave Dr. Smoler invaluable insight to further propel his professional growth. Graduating with very strong surgical skills allowed Dr. Smoler to expand his surgical knowledge with numerous mini-residency programs. Dr. Bruce Smoler completed an intensive 3‐year surgical dentistry program for implant dentistry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This advanced training program allowed Dr. Bruce Smoler to continue his training with the successful completion of his fellowship award in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Skilled in all phases of placing and restoring dental implants, Dr. Smoler’s professional goal is to help patients feel good, look great, and live healthier with implant dentistry. With about 6,000 hours of continuing education, this places Dr. Bruce Smoler in the top 1/2 of 1% of the dentist in America. Such an extensive background in all phases of dentistry is critical in helping patients achieve their desired results with complex full mouth reconstruction involving implants and cosmetics. In-office IV Sleep Sedation, allows Dr. Smoler’s patients to receive their treatment in complete comfort, ease, and relaxation.

Allan Oleinick, D.D.S.

Dr. Allan Oleinick is a graduate of the University of Michigan ‘79 (BS) and Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry ‘83 (DDS). He performed a 1year General Practice Residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, Michigan. During this time he wrote an article titled “ Osseointegration vs Fibro-osseointegration: Review of Endosseous Dental Implant Systems” Published in the General Dentistry journal September-October 1993 edition. This prestigious 1 year post graduate program is one of just a few programs of its kind in the whole country.

He practiced for 6 years in Boca Raton, Florida before returning to Metro-Detroit where he has been practicing for 30 years. Dr. Oleinick volunteered at the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland while in dental school. Dr. Oleinick has also spent time as a volunteer for the Alpha Omega free dental clinic in Southfield, Michigan. Additionally, he volunteers with his brother Larry’s non-profit organization Heart 2 Hart Detroit which helps to feed and clothe people of need in the city of Detroit, Michigan.

He is very excited to join the Smoler Smiles Team to continue his work helping people live healthy. Dr. Oleinick believes Doctor to patient communication is essential to allow patients to make educated decisions regarding their dental treatment and to achieve the most favorable oral health outcomes. Dr. Oleinick has been happily married to his wife Claire for 33 years and has two wonderful children. In his spare time Dr. Oleinick can be found on a golf course, exercising in the gym, or biking with his wife on one of Michigan’s bike trails. He was once ranked 448th in the world in indoor rowing and has achieved one hole-in-one! He claims his eyes were open when doing so!

This lovable furball joined our team as a morale-boosting specialist, with expertise in spreading smiles and creating a stress-free work environment. With her infectious energy and boundless affection, Zygo has quickly become the heart and soul of the office, providing a welcome distraction during those extra busy days and a cuddly companion for a quick boost of happiness.

When she’s not busy attending important napping meetings or overseeing the company’s chew toy inventory, Zygo enjoys leisurely strolls around the office to ensure everyone gets their daily dose of canine charm.
