Bruce Smoler, D.D.S., F.A.G.D., F.I.C.O.I.
Dr. Bruce Smoler is a native of the Detroit area. After an accelerated 3 years of college, he attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, IL. This 4year, year‐round program allowed him to advance his skill, knowledge, and understanding of dentistry. He was allowed to participate in numerous externship programs treating multidiscipline complex cases.
This advanced training gave Dr. Smoler invaluable insight to further propel his professional growth. Graduating with very strong surgical skills allowed Dr. Smoler to expand his surgical knowledge with numerous mini-residency programs. Dr. Bruce Smoler completed an intensive 3‐year surgical dentistry program for implant dentistry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This advanced training program allowed Dr. Bruce Smoler to continue his training with the successful completion of his fellowship award in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Skilled in all phases of placing and restoring dental implants, Dr. Smoler’s professional goal is to help patients feel good, look great, and live healthier with implant dentistry. With about 6,000 hours of continuing education, this places Dr. Bruce Smoler in the top 1/2 of 1% of the dentist in America. Such an extensive background in all phases of dentistry is critical in helping patients achieve their desired results with complex full mouth reconstruction involving implants and cosmetics. In-office IV Sleep Sedation, allows Dr. Smoler’s patients to receive their treatment in complete comfort, ease, and relaxation.
Allan Oleinick, D.D.S.
Dr. Allan Oleinick is a graduate of the University of Michigan ‘79 (BS) and Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry ‘83 (DDS). He performed a 1year General Practice Residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, Michigan. During this time he wrote an article titled “ Osseointegration vs Fibro-osseointegration: Review of Endosseous Dental Implant Systems” Published in the General Dentistry journal September-October 1993 edition. This prestigious 1 year post graduate program is one of just a few programs of its kind in the whole country.
He practiced for 6 years in Boca Raton, Florida before returning to Metro-Detroit where he has been practicing for 30 years. Dr. Oleinick volunteered at the Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland while in dental school. Dr. Oleinick has also spent time as a volunteer for the Alpha Omega free dental clinic in Southfield, Michigan. Additionally, he volunteers with his brother Larry’s non-profit organization Heart 2 Hart Detroit which helps to feed and clothe people of need in the city of Detroit, Michigan.
He is very excited to join the Smoler Smiles Team to continue his work helping people live healthy. Dr. Oleinick believes Doctor to patient communication is essential to allow patients to make educated decisions regarding their dental treatment and to achieve the most favorable oral health outcomes. Dr. Oleinick has been happily married to his wife Claire for 33 years and has two wonderful children. In his spare time Dr. Oleinick can be found on a golf course, exercising in the gym, or biking with his wife on one of Michigan’s bike trails. He was once ranked 448th in the world in indoor rowing and has achieved one hole-in-one! He claims his eyes were open when doing so!
Noorjahan Khan, D.D.S.
Dr. Noorjahan Khan received her Dental Degree from MUHS University, India, in 2004 where she topped her class in Oral Surgery. After which, she completed one year of rotatory internship in General Dentistry in 2005. She successfully cleared part A and B of International Qualifying Exams of UK where she also had advanced training in dental trauma, emergencies, and hospital medical protocol. After coming to the United States, Dr. Khan attended the University of Colorado and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree. She completed a yearlong Implant Maxi course from Rutgers University of New Jersey. By updating her clinical knowledge through continuing education courses, Dr. Khan makes it her duty to provide patients with high-quality care.
She likes all aspects of general dentistry but especially thrives in Surgical, Endodontics, and Esthetic Dentistry. Her long-term goal is to explore more and excel in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Khan’s work philosophy over the past 15 years has been to treat everyone as if they are a part of her own family. She is very personable, kind, caring, and practical. She pays special attention to her patients and listens to their concerns.
Dr. Khan lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and daughter. She is multilinguistic and loves
to explore the unique qualities of different cultures. When she is not serving patients, she enjoys spending quality time with family or reading an interesting book.
